Product Description
The Conquistadores brought fast, strong, and sturdy workhorses to the New World from Spain and Portugal. Some escaped into the wild Americas and mixed with original American horses. These free roaming horses came to be called “Wild Mustangs”probably from the Spanish word mesteno ,which means stray or free roaming animal. Wild Mustangs still roam our great land and are protected by a federal law passed in 1971 banning capturing, harming, or killing free roaming horses or burros on public land. Here, I captured a couple of Wild Mustangs showing a little “Mustang love.”
